Canoe Trip

In September we took a canoe trip down the St. Croix river from Hwy. 70 t0 Taylors Falls. The paddling was a little more difficult than we expected. We were going down stream, but into the wind. But we still had a great trip.

Late summer

Sorry to disappoint blog followers with irregular postings. The next few posts will be some photographic highlights from the past several months.

We visited Sarah, Jamie and Abigail in July.

We went to Sam and Anne-Marie's wedding and they borrowed our tandem bicycle (which was a wedding gift to us from them and others) as the vehicle from the ceremony to the toast to the reception.

Summer Visitors

This summer we were fortunate to have our good friends Ben and Maggie in town for an extended visit. They are on their drive back to Boston now, but their summer here made them real Minneapolis converts.

Their farewell evening included a series of musical performances. Dan and Anna need to get it together and learn some songs.

Belly

After a blogging hiatus it is time to start posting pictures of Anna's growing belly.

80 Trombones

When Dan was in New York, he saw a performance of Orbits, a piece for 80 trombones that was performed in the Guggenheim.

Here is the picture from the New York Times, Dan is standing near the center of that crowd.

Bogota

Earlier this month we went to Bogota for Sandy and Juanita's wedding. Here are just a few pictures.

We took the gondola up to the top of Montserrate.

Cape Cod

Dan is on Cape Cod visiting Ella, Adam and Teresa. Ella is teething and the box for the teething tablets seems to be more effective than the tablets themselves.
